Since the China-Laos Railway was inaugurated on December 3, 2021, the cumulative number of passenger trains operated had exceeded 100,000 as of May 27, with 73 million passenger trips handled and over 840,000 cross-border passenger trips from more than 120 countries and regions carried. This "golden corridor," bearing the shared aspirations of the people of China and Laos, is injecting new vitality into regional economic and social development with its increasingly busy transport capacity.
