Over 900 10,000-ton Heavy Haul Trains Operating on the Haolebaoji-Jian Railway

        The Haolebaoji-Jian Railway is the strategic channel of the South-to-North Coal Transport Project in China. On January 10, the 10,000-ton Heavy Haul Trains 71463 departed from the Jingbiandong Railway Station in Shaanxi. Loaded with coals, it ran southward toward the Xiangzhoubei Railway Station. This was the 900th 10,000-ton Heavy Haul Trains operating on the Haolebaoji-Ji'an Railway.

  The Haolebaoji-Ji'an Railway, stretching 1,813.5km in total, runs across the Yangtze River and Yellow River and travels through  seven province-level regions of Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi.

  As the longest heavy-haul railway, it is also the longest strategic channel in Chinas North-to-South Coal Transport Project.
