The Haolebaoji-Ji'an Railway, stretching 1,813.5km in total, runs across the Yangtze River and Yellow River and travels through seven province-level regions of Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi.
As the longest heavy-haul railway, it is also the longest strategic channel in China’s North-to-South Coal Transport Project.
