At Beigang Port of Guangdong-Hainan Railway, locomotives were towing trains out of No.1 Train Ferry on 6th January. Tourists constitute the main passenger flow during the Spring Festival Travel Season in Hainan. The many trucks, cars and passengers in their respective waiting lounges made for a bustling but happy atmosphere on the first day of Spring Festival travel season. The train ferry service not only helps passengers arrive safely on there to enjoy the fascinating scenery and warm winter on Hainan International Tourism Island. Even more, it provides the express sea-crossing channel for economic and social development. Over the past two decades, the railway ferry service at Beigang Port of Guangdong-Hainan Railway has witnessed 118,000 ferryboat transports, carrying more than 60 million passengers across Qiongzhou Strait.
