On May 15, Jiangxi's first CRE train carrying anti-epidemic supplies for international cooperation set off from Henggang Station of International Land Port of Nanchang (Xiangtang), heading for Russia. A total of 1.75 million anti-epidemic medical masks were loaded on this train.
Since the global outbreak, the railway sector, while doing its best to prevent and control the epidemic, has continuously improved the international operation level of CRE trains, helping foreign trade enterprises in Jiangxi to keep their orders, markets and shares.
To ensure the safe transportation and on-time arrival of this CRE train, the railway sector worked closely with customs and other authorities and related enterprises to establish a green channel for this CRE train, carefully organized the cargo sources, container sources, vehicle sources and labor, optimized the operation process, improved the handling efficiency, and implemented "one-stop" customized services. It also strengthened the whole-process transportation organization, smoothed the handover at ports, and closely coordinated and worked with the railway sector in countries along the route to ensure that the anti-epidemic supplies can arrive at the destination as soon as possible.
