Published:2020-03-23

On the morning of March 15, at the construction sites of the Daheli River Super Major Bridge and the super major bridge crossing Hegang-Dalian Expressway, the bundling of pier and abutment reinforcement, formwork erection and pile foundation construction were carried out simultaneously, marking that construction has been resumed in full swing on Jiamusi-Hegang Railway, the northernmost subsequent railway construction project in China.

Connecting Jiamusi and Hegang in the eastern part of Heilongjiang Province, the 71.5km long Jiamusi-Hegang Railway is one of the "100 major projects" in Heilongjiang Province. It is planned to complete all the lower bored piles, pile caps and pier bodies, erect 210 beams, and complete the sleeper replacement and OCL along the existing line, imposing a heavy construction task.

Facing the epidemic, Jiamusi Railway Construction Directorate of China Railway Harbin Group Co., Ltd. has actively worked with the relevant municipal and county governments and all construction participants to refine the epidemic prevention and control and relevant arrangements for workers returning to work, so as to realize orderly control of all links from reception, counting, transportation and health monitoring of returned workers to isolated personnel management and emergency control. As of March 15, more than 400 returned workers had been released from isolation and returned to work.

Local governments at all levels have also taken effective measures to support the project resumption. From the reception of returned workers, the transportation of construction equipment to the supply of construction materials, they have opened green channels and adopted special methods to ensure the smooth resumption of the project.
