From January 10, 2020, China Railway Xi'an Group Co., Ltd. will operate 3 pairs of through express trains on Xi'an-Ankang Railway, with departure times covering the morning, afternoon and evening periods, giving full consideration to the travel demands such as business and family visits. Ankang will be incorporated in the 2-hour economic circle of Xi'an.

　　Among the 3 pairs of through express trains, the fastest train will realize a traveling time between Ankang Station and Xi'an South Station reduced to 1 hour and 50 minutes, and a traveling time between Ankang Station and Xi'an Station reduced to 2 hours and 37 minutes. Compared with other passenger trains, the traveling time between Ankang and Xi'an is reduced by 40 ~ 80 minutes.

　　Ankang is located in the contiguous poverty-stricken area of Qinling-Daba Mountains. China Railway Xi'an Group Co., Ltd. has given full consideration to the actual economic development of the area, and in accordance with the relevant provisions and standards, operated the through express trains at affordable prices. The ticket price for a hard seat between Ankang and Xi'an South is RMB 29.5, while that for a hard seat between Ankang and Xi'an is RMB 37.5. For the 3 pairs of through express trains, hard seats, soft sleepers and hard sleepers are provided to meet the travel needs of different types of passengers.

　　Xi'an-Ankang Railway, which connects the north and south of Qinling Mountains, is an important part of the major Baotou-Liuzhou corridor. For the Spring Festival in 2020, China Railway Xi'an Group Co., Ltd. will implement technological upgrading and, in combination with the progress of key railway projects, operate the through express trains on Xi'an-Ankang Railway to further shorten the time-space distance between Ankang and Xi'an and facilitate people's travel by train along the line.
