Since November 26, the E-ticket service is available in six stations on Kunming-Yuxi-Hekou Railway under the management of China Railway Kunming Group Co., Ltd., namely, Yuxi Station, Tonghai Station, Jianshui Station, Mengzi Station, Pingbian Station and Hekou North Station, making it easier and faster for passengers to travel by EMU trains.
After the e-ticket service is available on the entire Kunming-Yuxi-Hekou Railway, passengers buying the EMU ticket on the 12306 website (including mobile apps) and in e-ticket available stations (including passenger ticket agencies) and boarding and alighting in e-ticket available stations can use the e-ticket.
This is the second railway in Yunnan province available with the e-ticket service since its application in Kunming South-Dali-Lijiang Railway on July 30 this year. As of November 20, 6.9 million e-tickets have been sold on the Kunming South-Dali-Lijiang Railway since the launching of the e-ticket service, with good response from passengers.
