Xuzhou–Yancheng Railway and Lianyungang–Zhenjiang Railway (Dongji-Huai'an Section) started the integrated commissioning and test on September 16. At present, all the testing tasks have been completed safely, with high quality and high efficiency.

　　Xuzhou–Yancheng Railway runs 315.550km in the main line from Xuzhou East Station to Yancheng Station, with 10 stations, including the newly-built Houmazhuang Station, Shuanggou Station, Suining Station, Suqian Station, Funing South Station and Huai'an East Station, and one station (Yanghe North Station) reserved for the future. In the construction of Xuzhou–Yancheng Railway, the Northern Jiangsu Railway Engineering Construction Directorate of China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. innovatively applied bridge automatic monitoring technology, key construction technologies for the overall lifting of long-span steel truss structures, etc. and added intelligent facilities such as intelligent air supply and exhaust systems and high-clarity intelligent anti-fog restroom mirrors to public toilets in station buildings to promote the station-city integration.

　　The main line of Lianyungang–Zhenjiang Railway (Dongji-Huai'an Section) is 117.543km long. Connecting to Dongji Station of Lianyungang-Yancheng Railway, it passes through Guanyun County, Guannan county, Lianshui County and Huai'an City, and intersects with Xuzhou–Yancheng Railway at Huai'an East Station. The Nanjing Railway Terminal Project Construction Directorate of China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. jointly implemented standardized management with all participating units to promote project construction with high quality and efficiency.

　　After being put into operation, Xuzhou–Yancheng Railway and Lianyungang–Zhenjiang Railway (Dongji-Huai'an Section) will rewrite the history of no HSR service in Huai'an and Suqian. They will also interconnect with Qingdao-Yancheng Railway and the ongoing Xuzhou-Lianyungang Railway and the Lianyungang–Zhenjiang Railway (Huai'an-Zhenjiang Section) to form a dense HSR network in northern Jiangsu.
