On November 9, the Mogu River No.2 Super Major Bridge on Yinchuan-Xi'an High Speed Railway, initiated by Xi’an-Chengdu Passenger Dedicated Railway Shaanxi Co., Ltd. and constructed by China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group, was successfully closed.

The Mogu River No.2 Super Major Bridge is located in Qianxian County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, with a total length of 1605.22 meters. It is the bridge with the longest span and the highest pier on Yinchuan-Xi'an High Speed Railway, and is a key project in Shaanxi Section. The north section of the bridge is designed as a 56-meter-long prefabricated assembled simply-supported box girder with epoxy resin joints, and the "dry assembly method" adopted in this section is the first application of the method in the construction of simply-supported box girders for high speed railways in China. On July 12, 2018, the first-span segment of the prefabricated assembled simply-supported box girder with epoxy resin joints was successfully erected in Mogu River No.2 Super Major Bridge. On April 30, 2019, the erection of all the simply-supported box girders were completed. The south section of the bridge is designed as a long-span stiffened steel truss continuous rigid frame composite structure. On July 29, 2018, the piers of the Mogu River No.2 Super Major Bridge were capped smoothly, creating favorable conditions for the construction of long-span continuous girders in the south section.
