The 40-day Spring Festival Travel Season for 2023 began on January 7, 2023. “Train ticket bookings for the 2023 Spring Festival Travel Season were initiated on December 24, 2022. Ticket sales statistics reveal an evident rise in passenger travels, showing railway passenger flow is gradually returning to normal.” Huang Xin, Director of CHINA RAILWAY, Passenger Transport Department, said. CR has made plans to accommodate this greater number of passenger trains during the busiest travel season in China.
