In 82 days, China Railway Urumqi Group Co., Ltd. will operate 74 additional through passenger trains for migrant workers on their way home. During this year's winter transportation, it expects to dispatch 9.46 million passengers, an increase of 1.381 million (17.1%) over the same period last year, with a daily ridership of 115,400.

　　The company's passenger flow in winter transportation is mainly on Chengdu, Chongqing, Xuzhou, Lanzhou (Tianshui), Zhengzhou (Xinyang, Shangqiu), Xi'an and other directions. According to the characteristics of winter transportation and the concentrated home-return demands for migrant workers, the company plans to operate 74 additional through passenger trains for migrant workers, including 17 from Urumqi to Chengdu, 12 from Korla to Zhengzhou, 26 from Aksu to Chengdu, and 19 from Aksu to Zhengzhou. These additional passenger trains are expected to transport more than 150,000 migrant workers.

　　In view of weekend passenger flow, the company has ensured the operation of 8 pairs of passenger trains in the weekend's "4+3" train operating diagram, and has added weekend EMUs and express passenger trains according to actual needs. It has operated 72 additional transit passenger trains from Urumqi to Turpan and Kashgar to meet the demand of winter transportation passenger flow to the greatest extent.
