Since November, all units in the transportation system of railway sector have actively implemented various measures to increase transportation and income around the goal of "Ensuring Safety, Stability and Operation; Increasing Transport Volume, Revenue and Benefit". Through measures such as optimizing transportation structure, refining transportation command and coordinating construction adjustment, the consecutive loading of empty cars is guaranteed to maintain freight loading at a high level. On November 16, 170,537 wagons were loaded in national railways, breaking the 170,000 milestone for the first time and reaching a record high.

As of November 18, the daily loaded wagons on national railways this year reached 167,402 wagons, up 16,040 wagons (10.6%) year-on-year. The daily freight delivery volume was 10.182 million tons, up 973 thousand tons (10.6%) year-on-year. On November 16, 170,537 wagons were loaded on railways nationwide, setting a new record for the single-day car loading of national railways. This was also the first time that the single-day car loading of national railways broke the 170,000 milestone, achieving a historic breakthrough.

In view of the rapid growth of car loading in railways nationwide and the tension on application of ordinary open-top wagons, the Traffic Control Department of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. started with the unloading organization at the overstock points to enhance the unloading work and night unloading rate analysis, and urged all CR regional groups to increase labor and equipment allocation, speed up loaded car transportation and improve unloading efficiency. For long-time overstocked stations, it requested them to adjust the car loading pace from the sources, effectively unclog the overstocked car flow and create conditions for continuous growth in car loading. So far, 174,993 wagons were unloaded daily on railways nationwide this month, an increase of 4,873 wagons over the same period of last year. On November 17, 178,770 wagons were unloaded on railways nationwide, refreshing the record of single-day car unloading in national railways set on November 16 (178,494 wagons).
