BRI Elements Shine at MODERN RAILWAYS 2023

From November 14 to 16, the 16th MODERN RAILWAYS was held at the China International Exhibition Center (Chaoyang Hall) in Beijing. A large number of elements showcasing the high-quality development of railway services in the “Belt and Road” Initiative (BRI) were featured, attracting numerous visitors to the exhibition.

Entering the theme exhibition area “China Railway Towards Modernization” set up by CR, the LED screen in the center played promotional videos, including “China-Laos Railway.” Nearby display boards documented the fruitful achievements of railway services in the BRI. Frames of images, text segments, and pictures allowed visitors to immerse themselves and fully experience the development achievements and bright prospects of Chinese railways.

“For a trip from Jakarta to Bandung that used to take more than 3 hours, the recently opened Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway reduced the travel time to 46 minutes, changing the pace of life for the people of Indonesia and making travel more efficient and comfortable,” said Dwiyana, the President Director of PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC), who participated in the exhibition. He also told reporters, “The Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway not only brings benefits to residents but also opens up breakthroughs in the development of industries along the route, such as tourism, hotels, and catering.”
