CIIE Exhibition Shows Opening-up Achievements

An exhibition themed “Ten Years of the New Era”on display during the ongoing China International Import Expo (CIIE) scheduled from November 5 to 10 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) showcases remarkable achievements China has made in opening-up over the past 10 years.

In the 30,000-square-meter exhibition area, visitors can see railway-related achievements set up by provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, including the achievements in CR Express and cross-border freight trains on China-Laos Railway.

One eye-catching high speed train model is a vivid portrayal of the contributions made by China railways to promote high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The shifting realistic LED-displayed coatings of a Lane Xang EMU train running on the China-Laos railway and an EMU marked with "KCIC" for Indonesia’s Jakarta-Bandung high speed railway demonstrate the ingenuity of China railways under the BRI initiative. The use of LED digital screen simulation technology and a fully-functioning driving console provide an immersive virtual driving experience, capturing visitors’ attention.
